In 2026, Chin Swee Caves Temple proudly commemorates its Golden Jubilee, celebrating 50 years of unwavering faith, cultural heritage, and spiritual service to generations of devotees and visitors.
Established through the vision of the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the Chin Swee Caves Temple Building Society was officially registered in 1976 and has since grown into one of Malaysia's most iconic religious and cultural institutions. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Genting Highlands, the temple has become a cherished place of worship, pilgrimage and cultural preservation. 
As we honour this remarkable milestone, we pay tribute to the founders, devotees, benefactors, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication and generosity have shaped the temple's enduring legacy over the past five decades. From its humble beginnings to becoming an internationally recognized spiritual landmark, Chin Swee Caves Temple continues to inspire faith, compassion, harmony and spiritual growth.

Grand Dharma Assembly

23  - 30 October 2026
As a highlight of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, Chin Swee Caves Temple will host a sacred 7-Day Water & Land Grand Dharma Assembly, led by Venerable Miaojiang of Mount Wutai, China, together with eminent monastics from around the world.
This auspicious event will bring together devotees and spiritual practitioners in prayers, blessings, and Dharma teachings dedicated to peace, harmony, gratitude, and universal well-being. The Grand Dharma Assembly represents a rare opportunity for devotees to participate in one of the most revered Buddhist ceremonies, fostering spiritual cultivation and collective merits and blessings for all beings.

Historic Arrival of the Sacred Statue of Chin Swee Deity  
Adding profound significance to this historic occasion is the arrival of the sacred statue of Chin Swee Deity from the Anxi Ancestral Temple in Fujian, China on 22 October 2026. This marks the sacred's first-ever visit to Southeast Asia.
This sacred visit symbolises the enduring spiritual connection between the ancestral temple and Chin Swee Caves Temple, while offering devotees a rare opportunity to pay homage and receive blessings from the revered deity.
